My rescue cat had a very bad cut recently when he tried to squeeze through the broken glass door at my restaurant (D’Loovi’s)
Dr. Goh treated his wounds and even offered me a free return trip to assess the cats recovery.

After the surgery, the vet put on her cone on and showed my mum that there was clearly enough space for the cat to breathe, and that our cat is well..then our cat was sent to the ward to rest. However, in less than 30 minutes, my mum received a call that our kitty was dying and asked her to return immediately. Upon arrival, our kitty was already out of breath. They told her that our cat woke up from the anesthetic and struggled due to the immense pain, causing the cone suffocate her and they didn’t manage to save her.
Regardless, no compensation was made nor the reason was even sound. We warded the cat here with the trust that these kind of incidents can be avoided at all cost! How can a cat just woke up, suffocated and died so suddenly if the staffs were to be more attentive knowing that there is a kitten that was about to be awake from anesthesia? The explanation was completely ridiculous!
You can give us any form of explanation because none of us saw the real incident or given any evidence that it was unavoidable, but our young kitty did died under your care that sounded alot like negligence. Because of your lack of attentiveness, now my entire family is grieving and crying over the lost of our baby girl. She may be a typical rescued cat that is no where near a branded breed, but she meant the world to us. My mum already had many sleepless nights prior to this day because she was so damn worried for our cat going through this procedure, and thanks to you, it traumatised her even further by letting this kind of accidents happen on your grounds. So please, work on your services!

9 months agoDr. Goh and his assistant are very knowledgeable and always take the time to explain the prognosis of the animal to the owner.He is meticulous yet very friendly too.

4 months agoPlease think twice before sending your pets here. We sent our 6 months old kitty to Angsana Vaterinary to neuter yesterday and she died in less than 30 minutes post-surgery. We decided to pay more to send her here instead of her usual vet thinking the doc may be more knowledgeable given our past experiences with this clinic. Just want to earn more money and do random unnecessary tests to your pets which cause additional stress3 months agoVery good doctor, very helpful and friendly staff, highly recommended for all your pet medical care…a year agoThe vet here is the friendliest and most caring among all the vets I’ve been to in Penang. Excellent service. They were professional, supportive, affordable and understanding during a moment of stress and difficulty. They were very calm and capable supporting the stray animal found and helped a lot.
Terrible Vet. When asked about his diagnosis on the cat he used “I don’t know” three times. Felt like he didn’t care to know what’s wrong with the patient. Failed to give correct diagnosis and prescriptions to the patient.
A waste of my time and money. Went to another vet next day and got proper treatment at half the cost.
They have 2 waiting room. Doctor very kind and would check my cats thoroughly.
