The chicken rendang was simply delicious and the amounts of herbs and spices used was really fragrant.
The roti bakar with kaya is a must try.
Don’t forget to order the iced kopi cham ikat tepi as well.
The place is really cozy and highly recommended

Embarking on a culinary journey through the intricate flavors of Nyonya cuisine is always a treat, and my recent visit to this Nyonya restaurant was no exception. With great anticipation, I dived into a bowl of Nyonya Laksa, a dish that promises a symphony of flavors and a fragrant journey.
The Nyonya Laksa was served in a generous portion, topped with an array of condiments that tantalized the eye. Yet, I couldn’t help but notice that the soup base, a crucial element in any laksa, seemed somewhat lacking in quantity. While the aroma of various herbs was delightful, the noodles below didn’t quite have the pleasure of swimming in that rich, red, and lemak sea of flavor I had hoped for. It was as if the laksa had lost some of its soul despite the tantalizing fragrance.
Next up was the Char Koay Teow, a dish that had my expectations soaring. While it was certainly enjoyable, I couldn’t help but feel that it lacked some of the vibrant and robust flavors that I associate with its non-halal counterparts. It was good but didn’t quite reach the heights I had hoped for.
The island provides a peaceful retreat to nature enthusiasts while welcoming ecotourists because of its minimal commercial growth. Organizations work..
This place here is very cosy and has good vibes, the people are friendly and very helpful. There are many parking spaces. Most of the food I have tasted and it’s yummy.
Went for lunch today to celebrate my sister’s birthday and we were really disappointed with the food. Since my mom was a vegetarian, she had less than 10 items to choose from and she ended up choosing sweet sour mocked chicken bento. Sadly my mom couldn’t even finish eating it cause the sweet sour sauce tasted like plain ketchup and the sides given, raw edamame, fried enoki mushroom and pickled radish didn’t add any flavour to the bento.
The butter milk chicken bento had good portions of chicken but it leaves you too full. Tried raw edamame for the first time and that would be my last time for sure.
Egg fried rice with popcorn chicken tasted like stir fried white rice with egg and soy sauce. There was no other flavour in that fried rice but only popcorn chicken to accompany it. Not to forget the small portion of fried rice that didn’t suit the price but for how bland it tasted, we’d rather have that small portion.
Nasi lemak ayam goreng although had a big portion and tasted nice, the two big papadom and two big fried chicken thighs will leave you too full and uneasy.
The only two good things we had was the banana ice cream waffle and the mushroom soup with garlic bread. Those were the only food that made my mom happy after the really bad meals we had.
We chose Muffin House for our lunch because few months ago, they had a different menu which had wider vegetarian options and they served such good food only to be disappointed this time by the new menu and really bad meals.
The mango + yuzu cake not only looks inviting, the flavor is light, refreshing with the fragrance of the fruits. Was told that it’s available on Friday, brought over from Melaka, we’re indeed lucky. Sipping tea and munch the salad along, we have a wholesome supper.
Nice food with authentic taste. Pasta marinara seafood was AWESOME ? ? spicy. My daughter love that.
Butter cream chicken pop corn with Japanese style also nice. Not spicy n suitable for kids or we cannot handle spicy.
Crispy duck mantau was nice n still hot.
Lemon sauce salmon, AMAZING!!!
All the food comes with reasonable price.

Tried the Avocado latte but the avocado tasted slimy and with cereal bits. Didn’t go well with the coffee.
