The meat department staff, very unfriendly and unhelpful! I was asking him( a middle age guy wearing black mask) a question at the shelf there and he takes more than 10mins to reply to me, he don’t even reply use his hand to point! What a bad staff you have sheng siong. Such a yucky attitude. ? Bad experience. 17 Jan around 5pm plus.

Spoilt, fermented dates sold as fresh dates with expiry July 2024. Bad inventory controls, avoid this store!

Most of the cashiers are pretty friendly, they will recommend you what are the items on discount or certain items you will be able to buy 1 get 1 free promotions. Their staffs are well taken care of thus very strong family orientated environment are present. New products are also highlighted to customers giving more choices to choose from.

I am a regular at this Sheng Siong branch. Noted over time, there is about 2 very rude checkout chinese cashiers at this outlet. Normally, the cashiers in Sheng Siong are helpful. This afternoon, I used the far right end cashier for checkout. I informed the cashier that I would like to pay $10 of the bill via CDC vouchers and the rest in cash. When the items were totalled up and $10 CDC voucher redeemed, I asked the cashier how much balance I should pay in cash. At first she ignored me and on my second prompt, she rudely told me I could read it from the machine myself. When I asked her why she was being rude and unhelpful, she launched into an argument. Can Sheng Siong please educate and train your staff well in customer service. This is uncalled for. I asked a legitimate question and was treated badly. There are many seniors like me who do not need to be subjected to such rude staff. Please discipline this staff.

    Went to buy cod fish and it cost about $125.25 however after cutting it is $125 and the fish monger trying to make the weight to its original by adding some bone into the weight scale.

    1. Weekends are busier but only one cashier counter on the outside. Thankfully the lady cleared pretty fast so waiting is good as older people can’t stand in line longer than expected with trollys. Two staffs will be better suggestion one inside one outside. What you think.

    3. Disappointed with the Narrow spaces,limited quantity items, but overall can get all the necessary groceries,beverages, vegetables and fruits

    4. Varieties of goods and produces. Price wise sometimes need to check to make sure it’s not over priced. Sometimes it does as I experienced it before. But generally, NTUC fair price. :)….?..
