1. Long long didn’t ask me the water temperature that I would like to have, during the hair wash. He used warm to hot water to wash my hair.
2. I was hoping for a mini head massage during the hair wash but the whole hair wash was done in a rush, under 10 mins.
3. Hair was not curled properly at all. I could barely see the curls. The end result was more of a wavy hair.
Please avoid this hairstylist if you’re going there.
I made an appointment at 11am. but stylist that i had booked with was not available and was given with another stylist. im fine with it. initially i opted for their sept soft rebonding promo. but ended up doing their algana anti frizz treatment as i did before and it was great. but this time round, the algana anti frizz treatment i did was really dissappointing with stylist K***. totally different from what i had done previously. i reach at 1105 and this stylist was actually attending another customer initially. K*** was friendly no doubt. but the service she did was just dissappointing. the hair cut was done like in a rush just snip2. and the straightening process, she just quickly ironned my hair, never part the other hair properly so i kept feeling the additional pulls. shes abit rough also her fingers occasionally scratched my face. the treatment is not cheap, $358 and the service received, might as well i go normal salon.
add on review on 6th october. to update, after the northpoint outlet management replied this review to send an email, i emailed on 2nd oct. there was a generic reply that they will get back again for within 1-3 business days. Today is Thursday and no follow up. really dissappointing. just look at the hair done just after algana anti frizz treatment which costs 358$. i dont mind the cost, as ive mentioned, i did before with other stylist and it was great. but this is really dissappointing. my hair is actually straight with some frizziness. even their ig posts, the algana treatment so so nice compared to what i had. sigh.
update on 18th oct 2022.
changed the star rating to 4 as Karva did a follow up on my review and ensure the process was completed accordingly. Karva offered a service recovery for me and the staff at Busorah Outlet, namely the stylist who did my hair Angel, was really skillful and the other team stylist was great in assisting her as well. Not a full 5 Star because of the first visit and really need to have patience for waiting the customer service team to reply.
will definitely be back again at bussorah outlet ??

First ever time with Karva. And love the experience! Stylist Angel really made me comfortable. Just told her the kind of color i wanted and she nailed it! Knowing its my bday, she gave free hair mask and that felt good. Thankyou so much Angel the good service❤️
Went for my girl’s first hair cut ever. Very disappointed. Read the service provided (pic) and i thought would be some great treatment cut wash etc.. we came and it was just hair cut. And the cut was not great… been cutting my girl’s hair and all even.. but now it looks bad even when i tie her hair the uneven is very obvious (pic). My first n last with karva. Very misleading description and minimal service. Fyi my girl sat very still during haircut.
My daughter came out of the salon crying. She requested for a rebond but the stylist insist of Alagan Anti Freeze probably that was the most expensive. I did my hair color and I asked her to check what was the last color done and she didn’t bother to check. They are just trying to get customer without considering what we want. I was patronising Karva for a longtime unfortunately this was the worst that we came across. Very disappointed. We paid for $666 in total.
They messed up my appointment and my hair (and my daughter’s hair). I’ve been a patron for more than 8 years and I’ve seen the quality steadily decline. The service and cut are not worth the money you pay. And I’m disappointed it has come to this. They promised to follow up with the stylist and management. It has been a week and I haven’t heard anything from them.
