One star is what this place gets. Not because they are not good but because the main businness clearly is not hospitality, convenience, ambiance or good food.
It is police station. Plenty of fully accessorized police men and women strutting around. But only one harrassed but very dedicated duty officer at the counter. Why? Other country’s PC terminal is not working.
Everyone accept the situation. The public wait patiently. The duty officer (Alastair) gamely serves. The others just went about their businesses.
My sympathy to the family there (before me) trying to get a permit for a funeral wake. They waited for about an hour while the counter is occupied by one making a lengthy report. Then it is my turn – eight minutes to change my address.
Two hours car park charges. And it seems like my experience is common.
Terrible service in the day according to reviews, & worse after midnight. No action taken for report made against large group of rowdy teens & unbearable noise pollution at 1 am in the morning, when the location was less than 100 m from the police station. Just to confirm this police station was set up for the well-being of the immediate neighbourhood & vicinity right?
Called to report on a bunch of rowdy boys at midnight and officer told me will dispatch officers over. 30mins later still no officers, saw the past reviews and seems like it doesn’t help. Had to call in again to remind the officer, and another officer picked up and said will check on the request.
This has been a constant issue for years and why is there no patrol group for hotspots issue or even installing an cctv cam would deter such actions from recurring.
Clearly no thought have been put into such noise pollution for the residents.

Thank you and keep up the good jobs ?. At 6am, my call to Yishun North Neighbourhood Police Centre was answered within 5 minutes. Loud noises such as music, shouting and laugher had stopped within 30 minutes after my call. It is because of Yishun North policemen and policewomen, I can continue my good sleep.
