Got the Nasi Lemak Ayam with Bergedil x2 ($11). They take a while to fry the fried chicken but it’s worth the wait! Also, portion is really huge, 2 people can probably share this.

Rice – very fragrant and soft, but coconut taste is strong.

Chilli – quite spicy, sweet.

Fried chicken – so crispy and flavourful! My favourite hands down, but need to wait for quite a while before it’s ready.

Fish – usually not a fan of fish but this was so good too. Also, surprised they included fish in my Nasi lemak ayam!

Onion egg – soft, fluffy and paired well with the dish.

Bergedil – dry, tasted exactly like instant ones. Skip this!

Came at 1pm, Q 20mins.
Not sure what time do they actually close. Q continues beyond 1.30pm

Sambal chili is the star of the show for me, sweet and spicy that packs a punch and leave you wanting for more.

Goes well with the coconut rice which was soft and fragrant. And the onion egg which was perfect.

Fish was flavorful, chicken wing was slightly underwhelming with all the hype on it.

Overall a decent meal for $4.5
Wouldn’t travel to have it, can try if happen to be in the area.

a hidden jem located in a coffeshop, no ingredients were skimp and everything is authentic as I can remember from childhood. Be prepare to queue everyday, average took about 20-30mins or 1hr during peak hours. Absolutely 5 star

Heard about this famous nasi lemak for a while back and decided to try it for breakfast on a Saturday as the stall where I had been getting my nasi lemak from for the past few years decided to stop selling nasi lemak as part of their transition into retirement.
