We just came back from a short trip from the far north of Vietnam and had an incredible time in nature. Since we only had 5 days, the two of them put together a “carefree package” for us including private drivers, healthy meals, champagne reception and non-stop breathtaking stopovers (mountain villages, rice fields, mountain peaks and much more). We are currently looking at the photos and it is unbelievable how unique the people and landscape are in the far north.

Vietnam is a big country and I recommend looking beyond the borders of Hanoi, Saigon and Da Nang. This can best be organized with the help of Heiko and Ly, as many locals outside of the tourist areas hardly speak English and Ly speaks fluent Vietnamese.

We are already planning the next trip into the hinterland with the two of them, because you can never get enough of adventure.

We have known these two unique people for many years now and strangers became friends and friends became family.

Heiko gave me the best advice for my four-week trip to Vietnam and organized an interesting five-day tour from Hanoi with a private driver to the north of Vietnam as well as a lovely two-day trip to Halong Bay. Everything went smoothly and his tips, including on my self-organized onward journey to the south of Vietnam, were very valuable. Best recommendation from me.

We were on tour with Ly and Heiko for the third time now, again for ten days! This time we went through the north again. We have known them for a few years now and have become friends and love being out and about with them and chatting. They always put together an individual tour for us, entirely according to our wishes. We get to areas where very few tourists come. Communication is also not a problem as Ly speaks Vietnamese fluently. The food is always very, very tasty! But they were also there to help and advise us during the rest of the time we spent in Vietnam. And we needed their help quite often because I unfortunately became ill. Ly and Heiko got tea and medicine for me and recommended a very good doctor in Hanoi. And also helped us with further vacation planning, as we had to reorganize a few things due to illness. They arranged private drivers, airport transfers and also great hotel accommodations for us. You can tell Ly and Heiko love what they do!!! It’s not just any job for them, they put a lot of passion into it! They’re both so welcoming that we’re always happy to spend time with them! We can absolutely recommend both of them!!!! I have already booked my second Vietnam vacation through Viethouse. Ly & Heiko get my highest recommendation! The organization is planned down to the last detail – including transfer and on-site support if any questions arise. The hotels and travel tips were impeccable on both tours – from the relaxed SPA hotel to trips through nature and to the temple complexes. We were in Vietnam for the third time and on tour with Ly and Heiko for the second time – for ten days! And this time everything was different! Because we arrived in Vietnam exactly when the second Corona wave started there. Which meant that Ly and Heiko not only looked after us wonderfully on our tour together, but also for the entire four weeks that we were in Vietnam. We had to completely replan: instead of traveling in the north, we traveled in the less affected south. We canceled Cambodia completely and we almost ended up in quarantine in Tam Coc. Ly and Heiko were always there to help and advise us, and we needed their help very, very often. Many difficulties were resolved by telephone or WhatsApp. For example, drivers were organized for us and in a long conversation with the hotel manager, Ly managed to ensure that the hotel and the restaurant remained open only for us during the curfew. We can absolutely recommend both of them! Without them we would have left early because of Corona and thanks to their help we were able to stay in the country as long as planned and make our vacation eventful and really enjoy it despite the difficult conditions.
