Beautiful place to chill out and relax. We went at 9am to catch the guy feeding the monkeys. We even spotted a wild boar. We have been to both restaurants there, once for lunch and the other time for dinner, both highly recommended. There is a small shop where you can pick up snacks and a toilet is next door (10 baht). The viewpoint has sweeping views of Phuket Town, Chalong Bay and the Panwa Peninsula. A must visit if you are in the area.

The view is amazing! There are several steps and it’s not handicap accessible. There’s a cute restaurant with the best Thai tea. It’s for sure worth checking out.

The winding road leading to the Buddha was incredibly scenic, surrounded by lush trees, and offered glimpses of monkeys and elephants available for rides at a fee offered by locals. There’s ample parking near the Big Buddha. I rate the panoramic view of Phuket from the Big Buddha site as the highest highlight. The view is truly mesmerizing, providing a sweeping sight of almost the entire island.
