This place just open a few weeks ago i think. When i heard ropang open in spore it was unexpected, just nice my mum actually did went with her friends few days back and she told me about her experience which was not ao positive about the food and slow service. Anyways my friends wanted to check it out and off we went today to hang out there. When we reached it was not crowded and we were the last customer they serve because we overheard the ingredients were sold out. So by the time almost 3pm they didnt accept anymore customer. To honest i love ropang in jakarta but this singapore store was a let down. Firstly the bread was not toasty and the flavour cant beat Jakarta’s OG taste. The fried banana fritters was even bigger diasapointment. The pempek was okay but i think the portion and the accompanied sauce was serve very little. As indonesian we know thats not the way it should be. Am not sure how this shop gonna survive with the current situation. Might be just hype when first open. Am not gonna be back for second visit. Interior is nice but the food dont justify. Please check it out if you are curious.

It’s hard to find authentic Indonesian food as someone who studied in Jakarta for 7 years. This place really reminds me of my childhood especially the nasi goreng ? Will definitely be back again!! ??

Ordered the Balinese rice for the main course and I absolutely love it. The chicken’s spiciness is perfect and the sambal matah is very fragrant. The squid is very tasty and the salt is just right. For the ropang, I ordered the ovomaltine and keju susu. Filling is generous but I don’t think it’s toasty enough. At that time they had just opened and they were so busy but the staff kept apologizing continuously so for me the staff service was very good. The place is comfortable and looks very sophisticated. Maybe the arrangement of tables and chairs can be improved again because i think can still add more tables and chairs 🙂

This place is outside the Sunda Kelapa mosque, this place is very crowded when it’s lunch time. You can buy many foods here like a soto, mi ayam, es kelapa, roti maryam, tahu gejrot and others. The price is affordable too.

Located in front of the Sunda Kelapa Mosque, Central Jakarta, this culinary variety is very helpful for visitors to the main mosque from outside the city. Like us.
